Axe & Hatchet in Yorkville is easily one of the best grooming experiences in the city. The shop feels refined and relaxed, more like a lounge than a barbershop. Dante takes time to understand your hair, face shape, and how you actually style it. The cut looks great immediately and grows out clean weeks later, which really shows his skill and attention to detail. Professional atmosphere, no rushing, and consistently sharp results. Highly recommend booking with Dante.

Been coming here for years, Dante is amazing and a true pro at what he does and as soon as I got my first cut I knew this was the spot. His experience and craft shine through each time and you always leave here feeling like a million bucks. I couldn't recommend Axe & Hatchet highly enough

Highly recommend any barber at this shop. Incredible experience every time. Dante and his team run create such an amazing experience, and most importantly elite cuts. When Dante is booked, someone else is available who can give just as a good and experience.

Great barbershop. Everyone is super cool and talented. Lots of barbershops but this one has super skilled and experienced barbers. The owner Dante is an amazing guy, always accommodating and does the most for his clients. Super reasonable prices for a barbershop in Yorkville. They’ve been open and around for over 11 years for a reason. For anyone seeing the 1 stars, I heard none of them are clients that have ever been to the shop. Disappointing to see people try to give a business a bad reputation for no reason. Axe and Hatchet is definitely worth the visit.
